What I’m Wearing This Week

Like any busy working woman (who’s also a mom), I have my “uniform” when I need to get things done. This outfit has taken me from Maxi’s performance at school to lunch with my fabulous Jessica Simpson creative team. Here’s what I’m wearing this week:

The Dress

Since I’ve been pregnant, I’ve really appreciated the versatility of a black maxi and body-con dress. I can dress it up or down, throw on a jacket or a sweater, and pair it with just about any type of shoes. I love this one from my maternity line.  Another favorite is this dress from James Perse.  It’s actually not a maternity style but the material is stretchy and perfect for a growing tummy.

The Jacket

During pregnancy, I’m a huge fan of topper pieces! Throwing one on over something fitted can be very slimming and is the perfect way to add a little something to your look. I’ve been pairing a long duster sweater over just about everything! Occasionally to change things up, I’ll do a great leopard blazer instead. Also, this denim jacket is perfect for casual days on the go over a long dress, while a silky kimono  will do the trick for taking this look from day to night-on-the-town.

The Shoes

I’m rotating between a few pair of shoes this week. I love the Havrie dress boot from my line for business meetings and these Gucci leather ankle boots with bright-red laces are my go-to on more casual days. I wear them with everything!

The Fuzzy Slides/Slippers

Most of you know me for my obsession with heels but the truth is, when I am lounging around my house, you’ll find me in something a little more comfortable. My current faves are these super fun Zoey fuzzy slippers. I’m also loving this Fendi pair that I wear when traveling. Warm, cozy and on trend!

The Accessories

I’m a big-earring and bigger-sunnies kind of girl, and hoops have always been my favorite style standby. To change things up from my usual hoops, recently I’ve been into these oversize, rainbow-studded ones. I love a pop color and these are perfect for spring!
