I’m a middle school secretary. I wore these for the first time the day my principal asked me to ‘help direct buses for 6th grade outdoor school return if I’m not back’.
He was not back.
I spent three hours in pouting, PacNW rain running up and down the road, in and out of puddles, and basically wading.
These shoes looked brand new when I got home.
They aren’t water proof - my feet got wet - but they survived perfectly!

I love the way these look like real ballet shoes. They are comfortable and well-made--my last pair was light pink and they are still in good shape after 5 years. I only sought to replace them because the light color has started to look dingy after so much use, but the sole has not worn out nor have they started to fall apart anywhere else. The padding inside is comfortable and the sole is nice solid rubber, so they are cute and comfy. I walked around in them all day today for the first time and there was no "break in" period--no blisters or anything. My main complaint is that now they only come in black! I would have loved another pink pair so that they look even more like a real pair of ballet shoes.
