For Mother's Day this year, we wanted to share a quick and easy breakfast idea that the kids can help create! These breakfast toasts are beautiful, easy to make, and can be as personalized as you want them to be! Have the kids get their supplies ready and wow you this year!

Peanut Butter with Starfruit Toast:
You can’t go wrong with creamy peanut butter and slices of a fruit that looks like a star!
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Peanut butter
1 starfruit, sliced
Directions:
Spread peanut butter on toast and add starfruit slices.

Avocado Spinach Toast with Cucumber Slices:
Adding a layer of spinach is a great way to sneak in those greens for mom!
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Baby spinach
1 avocado
¼ lemon
1 cucumber
Sea salt
Directions:
Add spinach first to toast.Mash avocado in bowl. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over avocado and mix well.
Add mashed avocado on top of spinach, then top with cucumber slices and sprinkles of sea salt.

Almond Butter “Nutella” Toast with Banana:
Yes, there is a superfood “nutella” you can make at home. This chocolate spread is delicious and made with just 4 ingredients.
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
2 tbsp cacao powder
1½ tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 tbsp almond butter
1-2 tsp pure maple syrup
1 banana
Directions:
In a bowl, mix together the cacao powder, coconut oil, almond butter and maple syrup. Mix well until it’s all combined.
Spread chocolate on toast and add sliced banana.
To make banana hearts, use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter.

Caprese Salad Toast:
You can never go wrong with the combination of mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil.
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Heirloom medley tomatoes
Organic mozzarella
Fresh basil
Sea salt & pepper
Directions:
Slice tomatoes.Slice mozzarella or using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, make heart mozzarella bites.
Top with basil leaves.
Add salt & pepper to taste.
Optional: drizzle with olive oil and/or balsamic glaze.

Beet Hummus Toast with Greens and Thyme:
Beet hummus gives toast such a beautiful pink color. Not to mention the protein and vitamin boost from the chickpeas, beets and green leafy veggies.
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
1 can chickpeas, drained
5 steamed and peeled baby beets
½ lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp water
Sea salt to taste
Mom’s favorite leafy greens
Fresh thyme
Directions:
In a blender or food processor, add chickpeas, beets, lemon juice, olive oil and water. Blend well until a smooth consistency.
Spread beet hummus onto toast, sprinkle a little sea salt, add leafy greens and top with fresh thyme.

Blood Orange & Kumquat Toast with Mint:
Blood oranges are so sweet, juicy and beautiful. And if you’ve never tried a kumquat, you must! They are so interesting and are meant to be eaten whole with the peel. The inside is actually the sour part, and the peel is sweet. Such an unexpected citrus twist!
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Cream cheese
1 blood orange
2 kumquats
Fresh mint leaves
Directions:
Spread desired amount of cream cheese.Slice blood orange and kumquats. Add to toast.
Top with fresh mint.

Almond Milk Chive Cream Cheese Toast with Watermelon Radishes:
This spread provides a great non-dairy option for cream cheese. You should be able to find it at your local health food store. Then top with the most beautiful watermelon radishes.

Almond Milk Chive Cream Cheese
1 watermelon radish
Directions:
Spread chive cream cheese on toast.Top with watermelon radish slices.

Blueberry Chia Jam Toast with Dragon Fruit:
Chia jam is the easiest way to make homemade jam, plus there is no sugar added. This blueberry jam is only 2 ingredients, and perfectly sweet enough.
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
1 cup blueberries
4½ tbsp chia seeds
1 dragon fruit
Directions:
In a blender, blend blueberries.Transfer blended blueberries to a bowl, and mix in chia seeds. Mix well.
Cover bowl with plastic wrap, and place in the fridge over night.
When you’re ready to make your toast, take chia jam out of fridge and spread onto toast.
Add dragon fruit slices or fun flower shapes using cookie cutters.

Almond Butter Toast with Cinnamon, Honey and Chamomile Flowers:
Almond butter, cinnamon and honey create a classically great combination. Adding organic, edible chamomile flowers takes it to a whole new level for some beautiful Mother’s Day inspiration.
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Almond butter
Raw, local honey
Cinnamon
Edible, organic chamomile flowers
Directions:
Spread almond butter onto toast.Drizzle honey and add cinnamon sprinkles.
Top with chamomile flowers.

Avocado toast with cream cheese + the much-loved Everything But the Bagel Seasoning equals a favorite pairing!
Ingredients:
Mom’s favorite bread toasted
Plain cream cheese
1-2 avocados
Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
Directions:
Spread cream cheese onto toast.Add avocado slices.
Using a variety of fun, small cookie cutters (i.e. stars, hearts, shooting star), cut out different avocado shapes and add to toast.
Top with seasoning.
