How To Make: World Wish Day Cookie Bouquets

Today is World Wish Day!

Make-A-Wish is such an important organization that brings joy to kids and parents when they need it most. It is my honor to support them and their 40 years of wish-granting! More #WishesAreWaiting than ever before and Keebler is working to make sure as many wishes are granted as possible.

To celebrate this beautiful partnership, the kids and I created these Star Cookie Bouquets with Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies. We made these out of supplies we had at home last month before we were quarantined. It was a fun indoor activity that kept them busy and creative - I am looking for as many of those activities as I can find right now! They were so excited to know they were doing something that helps make kids’ wishes come true, and as a mom that melted my heart.

Keebler's Star Cookie Bouquet

Materials

Keebler Fudge Stripes Cookies
Green Basket Grass
Gumdrops
Crayons
Skewer Sticks
Scissors
Construction Paper
Markers
Glitter Pens
Star Stickers
Ribbon

Directions

1.

Grab a skewer and tie a ribbon around the base.

2.

Add a Keebler Fudge Stripes Cookie on the skewer to be the top of the flower.

3.

Stick the gumdrop on top of the cookie to be the middle of the flower, repeat step 1-3 a few times.

4.

Cut out and decorate stars with your kids' names and attach to other skewers.

5.

Find a clear glass vase, fill with fake grass, the skewer sticks, and a ribbon. For ours, we hole punched a star and added it as the name tag.
