It's summertime and we are giving you three refreshing and hydrating smoothies to get you going! Grab the blender, some fresh fruit and enjoy!
3 Best Refreshing & Hydrating Smoothies
Option to add in description: You can add in 1-2 handfuls of green leafy vegetables, such as baby spinach or kale, for an extra health boost.
Watermelon, Strawberry & Basil Smoothie
Makes 2 smoothies
Ingredients:
1 cup filtered water
1½ - 2 cups cubed watermelon
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup fresh strawberries
½ cucumber
1-2 basil leaves
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
Directions:
1.
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender, and blend well.
2.
Add fun straw and slice of watermelon. Cheers!
Cherry Key Lime Smoothie
Makes 2 smoothies
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
1½ heaping cups pitted, dark sweet frozen cherries
2-3 key limes
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
Directions:
1.
Juice key limes with handheld juicer.
2.
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender, and blend well.
3.
Add fun straw, key lime slice and maybe a cherry on top! Cheers!
Peaches & Coconut Cream Smoothie
Makes 2 smoothies
Ingredients:
1 can organic, full-fat coconut milk
1 cup frozen peaches
1 fresh peach sliced
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop collagen peptides or your favorite good-quality vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
optional topping: coconut flakes
Directions:
1.
Add all ingredients to high-powered blender, and blend well.
2.
Add fun straw, peach slice and sprinkles of coconut flakes on top. Cheers!
