Meals I Can Make: Green Smoothie Bowl
It's that time of year again- where we reset after a fun holiday season! We love this Green Smoothie Bowl because not only is it delicious, it is nutritious. It has a secret ingredient you won't even taste: Cauliflower- giving it that extra punch of Vitamin C. Add whatever toppings you like- our favorite is a little bee pollen and granola for crunch.
Refreshing Green Smoothie Bowl
A fun, healthy breakfast idea to ring in 2022 this new month of the year! Filled with fiber, plant-based protein, antioxidants, nutrients, vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milk
1 frozen banana
½ – 1 cup frozen cauliflower
Juice of ½ lime
2 handfuls baby spinach or baby kale
1 handful microgreens
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flaxseed
Optional toppings:
Clementine slices
Lime slices
Coconut flakes
Bee pollen
Persimmon star cut-outs
Apple star cut-outs
Directions:
1.
In a high-powered blender, blend all ingredients together until it’s a smooth consistency.

Pour into a bowl and add desired toppings.
3.
Note: an easy way to make the persimmon and apple star cut-outs is to use a small cookie cutter.
