Meals I Can Make: Chocolate Strawberry Overnight Oats
This Valentine's Day, why not make your breakfast extra sweet? We love this cute recipe for Overnight Oats that will make anyone feel special when they wake up! Making it the night before means your Valentine's work is done by breakfast (we wish!).
Chocolate Strawberry Overnight OatsĀ
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened almond or oat milkĀ
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon chia seedsĀ
Ā½ - 1 tablespoon maple syrupĀ
Ā½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Ā¼ - Ā½ teaspoon almond extract
4-5 strawberries, slicedĀ
Directions:

Add all ingredients to a bowl or mason jar and stir with a spoon to combine.
The cacao powder might take some time to mix in, but keep at it until itās all mixed in well.

Cover with plastic wrap or lid if using a mason jar.Ā
3.
Place in the refrigerator overnight.

Take out in the morning & enjoy!Ā

Optional: top with whatever fun toppings you prefer. The toppings pictured are strawberry letter cut-outs, edible flowers & homemade chocolate covered strawberries!

Note: You can keep overnight oats in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, however, they are best eaten the next morning or within 1-2 days of making.
