Meals I Can Make: 4th of July Popsicles

There's nothing that screams summer like a big BBQ on a hot day and some refreshing popsicles after an afternoon swim! We love these easy-to-make popsicles for any hot summer day, but especially 4th of July!

Enjoy!

4th of July Popsicles

Ingredients:

Regular or pink coconut water

Blueberries

1 small watermelon

Coconut flakes

Utensils:

Popsicle molds

Popsicle sticks

Mini star-shaped cookie cutter

Directions:

1.

Using mini star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out watermelon stars.

2.

Place blueberries and watermelon stars into each popsicle mold.

3.

Next, fill molds with your favorite coconut water.

4.

Sprinkle on coconut flakes (don’t stir in, just let the flakes sit on top of the mold opening).

5.

Place lid on popsicle molds, slide in popsicle sticks and place in the freezer overnight.

6.

Once popsicles are ready, take them out of the freezer.

7.

Enjoy & Happy 4th of July!

Tip: To easily get your popsicles out of the molds, fill a large bowl with warm water and set the popsicle molds in the bowl usually just for a couple of seconds. They should then slide right out for you. Make sure also that the warm water does not come up over the molds but covers enough to loosen them up.
